Python Developer London to £120k

Python Developer / Software Engineer * Remote Process WFH* (Linux SQL C++). Hugely profitable eTrading company is seeking a technologist Python Developer with back office trading experience.

As a Python Developer you'll focus on post trade systems (commission computation, end of day trade settlement feeds, reconciliations and reporting) of fully automated trading strategies built using C++ and Python and running on Linux servers deployed within the company's data centres as well as co-location sites. You'll be hands-on, developing enhancements for middle and back office applications, either working autonomously or as part of a small team. You'll partner with global counterparts to ensure maximum reuse of effort and take ownership of production systems, providing 3rd line support when necessary.

You'll be based in modern, open plan offices with all the latest kit and 360 views of the City.

Driven by technology this company is able to conduct an entirely remote interview and onboarding process during the current social distancing measures.

Requirements:

You have a depth of experience with Python on Linux with SQL databases

You have experience and broad knowledge of trading, settlement and / or market data interfaces

You're experienced with globally distributed systems and high availability architectures

You're degree educated having achieved a 2.1 or above in Computer Science, Engineering or similar technical discipline

Nice to have: C++, Java, Big Data tools (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)
