Im currently looking for a Junior-mid Data Engineer to join an exciting client based in Sydney CBD starting with a 6 months contract! You will be joining a well-established team within the organisation and will be a great opportunity to learn new things and gain experience working in a high performing environment. Skills and experience needed for this role : Solid experience in custom ETL design, implementation and maintenance 5+ years Database administration experience with MSSQLT-SQL, SSIS Package administration, SQL Server Reporting ServicesExperience working with Azure and/ Or Google cloud platforms (GCP)Must have hands-on experience with building, deploying, troubleshooting data extraction using Databricks, Dataproc, Data factory, Data warehousing and Power BI.Experience working with data lakes, data warehouses e.g. Hadoop, Apache Spark, etc.Software development experience with: Python, Linux/Unix, .Net is highly regardedExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsDatabase capacity planning and performance tuningExperience with data security, access controls and encryptionFamiliarity with Machine LearningExperience creating visualisations with PowerBI and Tableau is very desirableExperience working with Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data Interviews for this role will be starting towards the end of this week so please apply ASAP for a further discussion about the role.
