Description:
We are looking for a Payroll Officer (Junior Talent Operations Specialist Advisor) for our clients Human Resources department in Belgium.
The Belgium based Payroll Officer is responsible for ensuring a smooth and correct execution of all HR operational activities during the employee lifecyle for the assigned population of employees. The Talent Ops Specialist works with the Talent Ops Advisor & Talent Liaison in a close partnership to create best in class experience for employees.
Mission duration: 6 months - extendable.
Job Summary
The Belgium based Jr Talent Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring a smooth and correct execution of all HR operational activities during the employee lifecyle for the assigned population of employees. The Talent Ops Specialist works with the Talent Ops Advisor & Talent Liaison in a close partnership to create best in class experience for employees.
Major Accountabilities/Responsibilities
Ensures the recruitment & on boarding process is running seamlessly creating a great experience for our new hires
Correct onboarding in payroll & benefits
Correct payroll calculation from the first month
All systems correctly & timely set up prior to on boarding day
Time system correctly set up
Documentation correctly collected
Promotions & off cycle increases
Promotion & off cycle increase correctly implemented & reflected in payroll & benefits system
If applicable, time system correctly set up
Off boarding
Ensures operational exit of employees, leaving the Company
Implements exit package in payroll & generates exit documents
Follow up CDD extensions/terminations with Talent Liaison
Ensures benefits are updated
Ensures final payment
Sickness & Leaves
Point of contact for employees for all questions & support, related to sickness or leaves
Act as subject matter expert
Ensure proper administrative follow
Trainee Management Payroll
Timely and accurate payment of all employees for the assigned population
Ensure necessary checks are documented and executed
Reconsolidate all information prior to processing payroll & take corrective actions whenever necessary
Ensure implementation of changes in social legislation defined by the Talent Ops Manager
Responsible for data quality
Ensure timely & accurate implementation of all changes in payroll, time & benefits systems
Education & Qualifications
Education Level Bachelor's Degree
Experience :
2 years of experience in Human Resources - Good understanding of HR Operations (i.e. payroll, HRIS, benefit administration, etc.) - Strong knowledge or HR processes (Employee Lifecycle) - Experience working with HR software (Successfactors, eBlox, Protime)
Competencies
Very good knowledge of Belgian Social Law;
