METALOGIX SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Typical Duties will include Monitor, diagnose and resolve issues in your SharePoint environments. View the health and performance of your SharePoint environment from a single dashboard and create custom reports based on issues specific to your environment. Address issues with SQL, search and content databases.

Responsibilities include:

*Manage the functionality of features such as Search, view the Audit Log Reports, work with site collection policies, manage the site collection caching, and activate or deactivate Site Collection features

*Deploy and Manage Quest Migration Manager for AD

*Deploy QMM agents for Server Migration

*Knowledge of ports required for communication of servers and Active directory domain controllers

*Hands on experience with migrating Group Policy Objects

*Experience with PowerShell scripts to Create/edit/delete objects in bulk.

*Experience with DNS Administration

*SharePoint deployments Experience working with SQL Server, Active Directory, PowerShell, and IIS Experience migrating

*Experience with Managing AD Sites and Services

*Managing AD Replication across different locations

*Understanding of TCP/IP concepts like IP Address Class, Subnet Mask, Gateway, DHCP and DNS

*Experience in setting up Cluster objects in Active Directory

*Develop Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents for various build, migration & Decommission processes

Work Conditions

*Work is primarily in Belgium and requires some travel to other International customer sites.

*Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines.

*Sitting for extended periods of time in typical office setting.

*Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard or mouse, and to handle other computer components.

*Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
