Having been established for many decades, they are continuing to expand due to an increase in the demand for their products across the globe.In this role you will be based in the Aberdeen workshop within the research and development team. Your role will primarily be developing the lithium batteries used to power the downhole tools, improving them for the future such as making the duration they last longer. The role will include a multitude of other elements such as making test plans to investigate new research possibilities.The ideal candidate will be an engineer with a strong electronics background. No specific industry knowledge is required.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading company that has remained stable over the years in a varied role that offers an excellent package and potential progression in the future.The Role:

*Monday - Friday, 40 hour week

*Part of the R&D team

*Improving and developing lithium batteries used in downhole tools

*Designing test plans to investigate other lines of researchThe Person:

*A background in electronics
