My client is looking for an experienced Analyst programmer/engineer to join their Microsoft services team. This role will be on a permanent basis with a competitive annual salary.With the key purpose of the role is to provide technical leadership on IT projects utilising Microsoft Services involving the analysis, design, development, implementation and support of computing and communications systems and infrastructure to meet the needs and requirements.The successful Analyst Programmer will be expected to multi-task across several activities and operate within a matrix management structure to provide the flexibility to meet varying project demands and a fast pace of change.So if this sounds like you, you strive in a fast-paced environment, ability to cope under pressure and extensive knowledge of Microsoft services and the #desired below technical skills then don't hesitate to apply now. '€¢To co-ordinate and liaise effectively with users at all levels, including senior management'€¢To provide technical support for operational systems, by reviewing and remediating calls logged with the Microsoft Services Team and providing incident and problem resolution support as required.'€¢On occasion, to deputise for the Microsoft Services Team leader or the Infrastructure Group Manager as required'€¢To carry out analysis, programming and design tasks for computing and communications systems and infrastructure.'€¢To develop and promote service standards and procedures and monitor their effectiveness'€¢To develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Active Directory, ADFS, NPS and Exchange server environments to: ensure maintenance tasks, security updates and systems management are carried out on time; and provide sound specialist analysis and advice in the management, development and deployment of the on-premises Microsoft infrastructure.'€¢To develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of'€¢Microsoft Office 365 tenancies and services such as Azure Active Directory, to: ensure maintenance tasks, security updates and systems management are carried out on time; and provide sound specialist analysis and advice in the management, development and deployment of the Office 365 infrastructure.'€¢Assist in security planning and implementation, maintaining a broad knowledge of related legislative requirements.'€¢Proven ability to plan complex projects, predicting potential contingencies and resolving difficulties.'€¢Significant proven experience of systems design and development.'€¢Proven ability to analyse and recommend practical solutions to complex business and technical problems.'€¢Preferably possess a Microsoft Certified Software Engineer status'€¢Experience of configuring, patching, testing, maintaining, monitoring and supporting a large Exchange environment.'€¢An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Services, Windows 2008r2 / 2012r2 / 2016 server architecture and specifications'€¢Significant proven experience of supporting and developing Exchange / ADS systems and services in a Windows 2008r2 / 2012r2 / 2016 server environment, and in Office 365 Due to the volume of applications received for positions, it will not be possible to respond to all applications and only applicants who are considered suitable for interview will be contacted.
