Our Government client require an Delivery Lead for an IT System implementation. Individual will be responsible for:Developing a detailed resource plan for the whole project (client and consultant) team that takes account of the Detailed Implementation Plan and the timescales within the plan (which the Project Manager will agree with the Supplier). The resource plan should be developed within 2 weeks after the Detailed Implementation Plan has been agreed by the Project Manager.Managing the Delivery Team which will consist of a Test Lead (consultant); a Data Lead (client); a Training Lead (client); and a Change & Transition Lead (client). This will include ensuring that the team are collaborating, working well together; are focused on the highest priority work activities; managing and reporting progress against assigned tasks.Working with Councils, Consultees and other stakeholders to ensure the effective transition and roll-out of the new IT System within the timescales set out in the detailed implementation plan.Represent the Client in all dealings with the Supplier associated with the delivery of the new IT system.Provide advice and support to the Delivery Team.Provide weekly written updates to the Project Manager including progress on the teams tasks, issues and risks identified and associated mitigation measures
