A leading manufacturer are recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Bristol. Are you proficient with 3D CAD software and competent in design within a manufacturing environment? If so, then you may be the Engineer we're looking for. What will you be doing? As Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for supporting existing platforms and actively driving improvements on product and engineering/manufacturing capabilities. You'll have the ability to research and work on developing the products functional specification to meet the markets changing requirements. In addition to this, you'll coordinate the manufacture and building of p-types. What skills/experience should you have?Minimum 1-2 years mechanical design engineering (proficient with 3D CAD software)DFM (Design for Manufacture)Sheet metal design, fabrication and welding would be an advantage but not essential Who will you be working for?
