An IAM Patching Specialist is required for our client based in Exeter for an initial 6 month contract. Current SC Clearance would be highly advantageous. Job PurposeThe job holder will help to build and maintain robust automated identity and access management systems in support of on-premise, SaaS and cloud-based services. In addition, the job holder will have experience patching systems. Our client is looking for an engineer, skilled in Microsoft technologies, to complement the existing team. This role will be working on technology projects including cyber security and will also undertake BAU tasks on the core services. ResponsibilitiesHelp to build an Identity and Access management strategy that supports adoption of cloud services. With consideration of Identity Governance and monitoring including supporting operational security objectives.Define Identity and Access Management lifecycle and RBAC controls for both new and legacy systems and services.Support the automation of JML for both customer and employee access management journeys including the automation of privilege access controls.Setup and implement patches to various server and PC environments.Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of the Corporate Identity and Access Management Services. EssentialGood knowledge of best practices in Identity and Access management system design and maintenance. With solid understanding of identity stores providing strong authentication and authorization services including RBAC and privilege access management capabilities and methodologies.Extensive knowledge and skills in building and maintaining access management/SSO systems with examples of working with and configuring some of the following - Active Directory (AAD/ADFS), FreeIPA, OpenAM, Azure B2C or other OpenID connect, Oauth or SAML services providers.Demonstratable experience of the low Level design and implementation of hybrid Identity Access Management Solutions spanning on-premise and cloud.Show evidence of an organised and structured approach to work with experience in defining technical IAM work packages and vendor selection.Experience of WSUS, SCCM and whitelistingA proven ability to communicate and professionally manage stakeholder at all levels; as well as leading on strategy, design and influencing technical teams. Capable of setting Enterprise level Identity and Access Management standards and principles.Exposure to writing & managing code developed in some of the following: Java; Javascript (E.g Angular, React, Amplify, nodejs); python, powershell. DesirableExperience with identity and Access Management governance solutions.ServiceNow skills in creating Business Workflows in support of JML processes and customer portals for self-management.Understand/experience of Agile development, the Agile Manifesto and how to support continuous improvement of the team.Solid experience with databases, application servers, operating systems and networking infrastructure.IT / Cybersecurity / Information Security experience
