Y Rôl

Fel Prentis Digidol / TG, byddwch yn ymuno â'r Rhaglen Prentisiaeth Gradd Ddigidol ym Mhrifysgol De Cymru, gan astudio BSc (Anrhydeddau) a ariennir yn  llawn mewn Datrysiadau Digidol a Thechnoleg.

Byddwch yn adrodd i'n Datblygwr Arweiniol fel rhan o'n Tîm TG a bydd cyfle i chi gymryd rhan mewn ystod o dasgau digidol, gan gynnwys dadansoddi busnes, datblygu meddalwedd, profi, gweithredu a dylunio meddalwedd.

Byddwn yn eich cefnogi'n llawn trwy gydol y rhaglen ac yn darparu mentor a chyfaill i chi i sicrhau eich bod yn llwyddo yn ystod eich amser gyda ni.

About Us

We are Qualifications Wales, the independent organisation responsible for regulating general and vocational qualifications in Wales. We focus on publicly funded qualifications, including GCSEs, A levels and vocational qualifications.

We're currently looking for a Digital / IT Apprentice to join us on a full-time apprenticeship lasting 4.5 years. The successful applicant is scheduled to start in September 2020.

The Role

As a Digital / IT Apprentice, you will join the Digital Degree Apprenticeship Programme at University of South Wales, studying a fully funded BSc (Honours) in Digital & Technology Solutions.

You will report to our Lead Developer as part of our IT Team and will have the chance to get involved with a range of digital tasks, including business analysis, software development, testing, implementation and software design. 

We will fully support you throughout the programme and provide you with a mentor and a buddy to ensure you succeed during your time with us. 

About You 

To join us as a Digital / IT Apprentice, you'll need: 

- A minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above (including Maths and English) and A Levels or equivalent to the value of 104 - 80 UCAS points
- Excellent attention to detail 
- A highly organised approach
- The ability to work on your own initiative 

Other organisations may call this role Apprentice Software Developer, Apprentice Software Engineer, Trainee Software Developer, Trainee IT Engineer, or Apprentice.
