Websphere Application Server Specialist

The work is to support critical Government systems.

Install, configure, secure and maintain Application Servers (both Open Source and IBM propriety) as well as 3rd party COTS applications installed on those servers. This will involve creating reproducible, automated builds in a Linux environment.

Essential:

WebSphere MQ 6/7, Proprietary application servers such as IBM WAS 8.5, WebSphere Liberty.

Nice to have:

RedHat Enterprise Linux, bash scripting, analytics experience, WebSphere Message broker, IIB 10, Shell scripting, Container and virtualisation technology familiarity. Open Source application servers (such as JBoss, Tomcat, TomEE, Geronimo)
