Our client require an experienced Test Lead to assist with the implementation of a Regional Planning IT System. Responsible for ensuring the Regional Planning IT System is fully tested prior to implementation. In carrying out this role the individual will be required to;Review the Test Strategy developed by the Supplier to ensure the strategy is acceptable and complies with the contract for the new Regional Planning IT System. In particular they must ensure the Test Strategy addresses the following: Unit testing;System testing (including role based security testing);System integration testing (including all associated interfaces);Supplier Security vulnerability testing;Usability and Accessibility testing;User acceptance testing;Performance and stress testing;Infrastructure testing;Independent IT Health Checks and remedial actions/retests;Release Process and controls/approvals, including use of automated testingDisaster recovery testing; andRegression testing.Identify and manage the testing teams.Manage the testing by staff to ensure it is completed on time and that outcomes are clearly communicated to the Supplier (via frequent and regular progress reviews) and Delivery Lead for consideration.Review the Suppliers proposals to optimise test deliveryProvide advice to the Delivery Lead and Project Manager on the acceptability or otherwise of the Suppliers Test Strategy.Work with the Supplier to ensure the Test Strategy is revised to ensure it complies with the Contract Documents.Ensure the Supplier delivers on the agreed Test StrategyRepresent the Client in all dealings with the Supplier associated with the testing of the new IT system. This may include regular progress review meetings, workshops, sprints, or other meetings.Agree any changes to the Suppliers proposalsWork with Local Change Leads, Business and Technical Product Owners to ensure test plans, scenarios and scripts are agreed. This includes the success criteria.Establish, manage and plan User Acceptance Testing processes and client activities/responsibilities.Work with Business and Technical Product Owners to ensure testing requirements are catered for as part of the business / technical configurationProduce weekly reports to the Delivery Lead and Project Manager on the development and delivery of the Test Strategy and Testing.
