We are responsible for Technology Operations and for managing our IT Suppliers, and we guarantee the Information Security for our Partners and our Customers. The Service Transition Manager is a new role within the Transition to Operations group and is critical to ensuring that all new IT services and Technology Change are fit for purpose as part of production deployment.  Working to the Head of Service Design and Transition as a member of a small transition team you will play a key role in making sure that our new processes can be used effectively and be responsible for ensuring that transition of new applications to Business as Usual (BAU) operation is successful as we bring the management of our IT services in house. You'll be collaborating as a centre of excellence in service transition and continuous improvement across all of the Bank's technology change activities.  This role is a fantastic opportunity to bring your skills and experience in Service Transition this new team. Key responsibilities include: Building, maintaining and improving policies, standards and models for service transition activities and processes as we bring these in-house from our existing supplier in Spain Managing, overseeing and coordinating multiple IT suppliers involved in the process Ensuring that service transition is coordinated with programme and project management teams to ensure the success of their service design and service development activities Managing support for multiple, concurrent transition activities from within the team Engaging with stakeholders to resolve conflicting priorities for service transition Supporting the management of budget and resources for future service transition activities Owning the continuous improvement process for transition planning and support We'd love you to have these skills and experience: ITIL certification or equivalent, relevant qualification in a Financial Services or similar organisation Demonstrable experience and track record in a service design/service transition environment engaging with teams, senior stakeholders and suppliers Exposure to leading service transition tools and techniques and experience in building best in class processes
