Leading global investment management firm powered by cutting edge data and technology is seeking a skilled Senior Software Developer to enhance their capabilities across their talented teams. The organisation specialises in developing automated trading systems that execute across global financial markets, achieving high quality return for their prestigious client base.

As a Senior Software Developer you'll be responsible for designing, developing and testing critical front to back trading infrastructure for global frameworks that are used for algorithmic trading. You'll have the chance to get stuck into all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partnering with key researchers, engineers and stakeholders business-wide to ensure global consistency, and optimising the reuse of software components.

In this Senior Software Developer role you'll be a key player in a global team, and will work closely with teams in Singapore and Montreal. Your personal and professional development will be highly valued, and there will be plenty of opportunities to develop and refine your technical skills, as well as the chance to move into a Technical Leadership role if desired.

Requirements:

You are a C++ expert and have strong Linux experience

You have experience with code optimisation with high performing applications within a financial services environment (e.g. real-time market data, exchange connectivity, feed handlers, parsers)

You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science Fundamentals (e.g. OOP, Design Patterns, Data Structures etc.)

You have good working knowledge of Distributed System design

You're a positive team player who excels when working in a highly collaborative environment
