Role: Senior Java back-end developerProject length: 12 or 24 monthsLocation: Warsaw, Poland (100% remote for the time being) Role & responsibilities: Creating complex back-end systems for several different applications that support one of the biggest trading platforms worldwide - these are often high availability, high throughput, mission-critical systems.Writing robust, clean and quality code in Java 8/11.Liaising with international team of developers and other stakeholders Contributing ideas and analytical discussions to solve complex issues with the most efficient solution.Skills & Qualifications Significant commercial experience with complex back-end systems, Strong practical knowledge of Java 8 and above. Solid knowledge of design patterns and algorithms Interest in latest technologies and continues personal development Can-do attitudeNice to have: University degree in Computer Science, Application Development or related disciplines Working knowledge with Kafka, ElasticSearch, noSQL databases such as MongoDB, Spring Batch, etc. Experience in the financial industry is a plus, but not a requirement.
