Role: Procurement Category Manager - (Social Care / Adult Services)

Location: Chichester

Salary: £55,000 - £57,000

The Role:

Our leading client has a vacancy for a within Procurement and Contractual management function. The successful candidate will have experience of process improvement, consolidation, delivering value in procurement and best practice initiatives. A commercially focused procurement professional with a solid background in Public Sector & social care experience.

Define and design best practice and champion a commercial approach to external spend in order to deliver value for money outcomes and transform the ways services are delivered.

*People category covers Adults' Services, Children's Services, Education and Public Health

*OJEU procurement process

*Social care systems

*Legislation and policy

*Strong influencer with proven negotiation skills within large, multifaceted organisations
