Data Scientist required to join a utilities company in Brighton, who are using advanced analytics to unlock the value in their vast datasets - relating to customer usage/ profiling, marketing and operational predictions. They're a small 'task force' of Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Business Intelligence consultants, operating within a large corporation. For this Data Scientist position they require someone with the following background:An advanced degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or similarExperience working as a Data Scientist on complex marketing, operations or commercial projectsFluency in Python or R A good understanding of big data packages like Hadoop and SparkKnowledge of Machine Learning libraries would be advantageous (Tensorflow, Keras, Pytorch, SK-learn etc)This position would ideally suit an experienced Data Scientist who wants to contribute towards a cultural shift within a large corporation - to become more data centric and exemplify the business value that sits within the incoming data.
