This is a superb opportunity to join an exciting semiconductor company that provides game-changing hardware acceleration for mobile communications. As part of my client’s ambition and strong growth plans, I am looking for skilled and enthusiastic engineers from mid-level through to principal to join the team. This role is located in Southampton, close to historic city’s like Winchester and Portsmouth with plenty to do for individuals and families alike. Southampton is home to one of the best Universities in the country and good schools and colleges so a good place to settle for families. Responsibilities to include Collaborate with colleagues on the design, development, verification and documentation of their IP Lead on the optimisation, synthesis and characterisation of ASIC solutions and support customers in the validation, synthesis, layout and integration of ASIC solutionsQualifications & Experience This role requires the successful ASIC engineers to be degree qualifies and skilled in System Verilog or VHDL as well as having some software programming skills in Matlab, C or SystemC. You must also have knowledge and experience in Optimisation, synthesis, characterisation, validation, layout and integration of ASIC solutions as well as working with advanced process nodes of 28 nm or below.
