CAD Draughtsman Burgess Hill£40000 + Training + Progression + Private healthcare + Life insurance + Bonus + Pension + HolidayExcellent opportunity for a design engineer to join a leading company that will offer you a varied and technically challenging role where you can progress.Specialising in the Oil & gas and petrochemical industry this company are widely regarded as the market leader in their field.In this role the CAD Draughtsman will directly report to the Senior Draughtsman to support the Project and Process Engineering teams in the production of drawings, 3D models and standards.

The ideal candidate will be degree qualified, have previous experience of working in a 3D modelling environment and have solidworks knowledge.This is a great role for design engineer to join a company where you will be a vital cog in the wheel.The role:*Provide layouts, general arrangement and detail drawings in Solid Works and Tekla in full accordance with company standards and clients' project specifications.

*Work as a team member dedicated to fulfilling the project design requirements.

*Monitor job progress within specified schedules.

*Assist in the development of SolidWorks, Tekla, 3D, CAD systems and standards.

*Liaise with sub-contractors with regard to contracted-out drawings.

*Maintain drawing office records.

The person:*Qualifications to HND/Degree level in an engineering discipline is preferred however candidates with a strong project engineering background within a technical environment will be considered.

*Previous experience of working in a 3D modelling environment is essential.

*High standard of analytical & technical problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

*Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure.

*Knowledge of SolidWorks 3D is essential, knowledge of AutoCAD and Tekla advantageous
