This company are seen as the industry leaders and have strong expansion plans for the coming years.In this role, the design engineer will have a key position in supporting the manufacturing and installation teams, new product design and grant-funded projects. You will be designing solar modules and the electrical and mechanical engineering of building solar products and installations, attending customer sites to provide designs and technical support.The ideal candidate will be a graduate engineer with a degree in electrical or electronic engineer who has used CAD in their course. You will want to progress your career in design engineering and have a passion/ interest in the renewable industry.This is a great role for a graduate design engineer to join a leading engineering company where you will play a key role in their growth and development.The role:*Design of solar modules*Design electrical and mechanical engineering of building integrated solar products and architectural solar PV installations*Design new products and amendments of existing products*Leading on submission of grant applications for innovative applications for solar PV*Co-coordinating programme of research, development and grant funded projects*Customer site visits to inform on designs and provide technical support*Support marketing activities and eventsThe Person:*Have a degree in Electrical Engineering*Have fluent CAD skills*Want to progress your career in the renewable industry.*Live in the Cardiff area or have links to the Cardiff area.The services of Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd are that of an Employment Agency.
