Head of Application Delivery

We are looking for a Head of Application Delivery to join our Information Management and Technology Directorate to lead the Application Delivery Function executing digital initiatives, ensuring they are effectively positioned, planned and managed to deliver products that align with the organisation's priorities and user needs.

You will be relied upon to deliver a wide range of applications central to our business plan, managing the delivery of enterprise-level systems such as ERP and Sitecore. You will play a pivotal role in guiding and developing the design systems to meet organisation goals, working with team members and stakeholders to deliver data models for digital systems.

Working effectively with key stakeholders and team members, you will translate business and user needs into technical designs, manage the delivery of products and delivery outcomes, ensuring projects land well and appropriate change management process have been applied.  You will be required to lead and manage a team through this journey to ensure the effective delivery of these commitments, developing, motivating and enabling them to carry out their roles effectively.

As well as broad technology experience, you will have successfully delivered applications using agile processes and will be able to lead the planning of application delivery and integration of enterprise-level systems. You will have experience of managing teams and supplier relationships and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to achieve joint outcomes.

Please note that this is a permanent role and is not available on a contractor day rate basis.
