We are seeking an enthusiastic and competent IT Infrastructure Engineer to help manage the IT Infrastructure of the business, consisting of over 150 servers, across four UK sites, supporting ERP and PLM systems, CAD systems, and office productivity applications for over 500 users.There are currently a number of projects planned for 2020 including upgrades to the network switch infrastructure to 10Gb/s, renewal of server hardware, migration of a number of domains into a single domain for all users across the four sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Backups. Making sure that all systems are backed up in a timely fashion.Updating servers, both physical and virtual, at a time where the impact is minimal to the business operation.Maintenance of infrastructure equipment.Provision of new hardware, software and virtual servers where required.Managing the MDM platform for all sites; working with local IT support to help them manage the mobile devices Skills and Qualifications Required:
You will be required to demonstrate a working knowledge of: Windows Server 2012 to 2019. Hyper-V. Firewalls. Network switches. Active Directory. Exchange. Backup Technologies. SAN technologies. VoIP.
Driving License as there will be travel to other Ultra sites in the UK.
