Software Engineer / Developer (C++ Middleware Multi-Threading Agile OS Linux TDD CI). A hyper-growth start up is seeking a bright, uber-technical Software Engineer to enhance their capabilities as they enter a new phase of growth.

The company is dedicated to producing electronic delivery solutions for enterprise-scale organisations and this opening is a fantastic chance for an ambitious engineer to support them in firmly establishing their products in the UK.

As a Software Engineer, you will work closely with the UX design team and fellow engineers to bring the cutting-edge products to the market, gaining business-wide exposure and leveraging your experience with client server technologies and a prestigious client base. This is a high-visibility role where you will have the opportunity to take ownership of existing projects and tools to adopt, improve and drive coding standards and processes.

Requirements:

You are an expert in C++ and know what is required to predictably deliver high-quality software

You have the breadth of knowledge to confidently work throughout the stack on middleware, front end and DB technologies

You have experience in server side development and design patterns (such as object oriented design, multi-threading and concurrency)

You have experience in developing OS agnostic software

You can confidently work using the command line within Linux and FreeBSD

You have experience working in an environment that has successfully implemented test-driven development / continuous integration
