Big Data Administrator vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the banking sector.Your experience/skills:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, related discipline or equivalent experienceSeveral years of experience with Automated Deployment tools like Ansible or PuppetAt least 3-5 years of experience in a Hadoop Administration and/or Support role, ideally, within banking or finance environment Familiarity with specific characteristics of the Hortonworks / Cloudera Stack is a mustExperience with IBM Whatson Studio Local, Apache Knox & RangerGood abstraction and conceptual skills combined with a self-reliant, team-minded, communicative, proactive personalityBeing interested in working in a fast-paced international environment as part of an international teamLanguages: English - fluent both written and spokenYour tasks:Administrating the Big Data platform based on IBM Power SystemsEngineering and operating of the platform from a technology point of view, controlling and monitoring the platform performance and capacityImplementing core Big Data platform capabilities and ensuring Big Data platform's availabilityMaintaining and continually improving Project InfrastructureWorking in collaboration with Big Data Engineering and DevOps TeamsStart: ASAP
