Be responsible for the build, delivery and support of Network & Security platforms.Client DetailsA global Financial Services institution is looking for a Senior Network & Security Specialist in Brighton.DescriptionDeliver Network & Security services by via project work or direct engagement.Responsible for ensuring the Comms Rooms and patching activitiesResponsible for contributing to capacity, availability, problem management, change management and knowledge management activities within the team, and undertaking Continual Service Improvements as a day to day activity.Actively identify risks, ensure they are appropriately logged and tracked at the appropriate forums, and take appropriate action to mitigate or resolve.Define, develop and deliver processes and systems to ensure a high level of service. ProfileITIL Service ManagementExtensive demonstrable technical work experience as a 3rd level support specialist or similarHave an excellent understanding of Cisco networking devices including configuring and deployment Including: VLANS VRF's QOS MPLS Wans SD Network Cisco Wireless controllers Network security and Load-balancing Cisco ISEDetailed knowledge of Demand Management, Capacity Planning, Major Incident Management and Continual Service improvementKnowledge of the ITIL Service Management framework and the impact on the service deliveryKnowledge of Agile best practice and how to apply it to product development / enhancementsIn-depth understanding of the product and its place in the delivery of serviceHave experience with Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper and Fortigate FirewallsHave experience of F5 Load balancersBasic understanding of IP telephony would be of benefitExperience of Cloud connect technologies is a benefitJob OfferA chance for the Senior Network & Security Specialist to join a newly formed team and be responsible for setting the network standards in Brighton.
