In this newly created role, we are looking for an experienced IT Leader to work closely with the Finance Director to drive best practice IT solutions across the business. This role involves a high level of communication with various business units including Sales & Marketing, Finance, Production etc and you will be expected to roll your sleeves up and work on a variety of IT initiatives. They are in the Manufacturing industry and have a SAP footprint, applicants will only be considered and contacted if they have a relevant background in this space due to the expected volume of applications.Rest assured this is a very interesting and varied role and you will be expected to work with colleagues across Europe and Globally on very interesting products and services.DescriptionThe Senior Manager, IT Innovation & Projects, provides leadership and end-to-end coordination of the company's applications and communications projects. The person will have an opportunity to work with internal and external parties, IT providers, customers, to deliver robust, high quality solutions to critical business processes. The Senior Manager, IT Innovation & Projects will ensure that all internal and external business IT needs are covered, and projects deadlines are met.Accountability for IT/IS (SAP and non-SAP) projects and actively drive the design and development of projects to meet the business requirementsDefine the project governance framework for each project; liaising with all parties to ensure that the critical paths are embedded in the process, including:3rd party due diligence;Contract creation;Roles & responsibilities definition (RACI);Stakeholders mapping;Potential escalation paths;Internal and external reporting;Communication strategy and change management;Risks and issue management;Define clear deliverables & associated internal acceptance;Quality change control process, CSV processesNegotiate solutions and resources across the organisation, internally and externally with suppliersPrepare and control operational budget and capital expenditure budget for IT/IS projects and other innovation initiativesEnsure project handover and transition into on-going service and support is facilitated successfully alignedMonitor and critically evaluate existing Management information systems for the collection, processing, storage, retrieval and dissemination of informationEvaluate and specify the technology required to support the information systems, including the type of computing technology, communications methods, database/s and the applications software which should be employedAssure the compliance/legislative adherence for all IT/IS project management activitiesResearch and implement new technologiesLiaise with colleagues Internationally on IT/IS issues (Global IT, Regional IT)Responsible for the generation of management information from SAP platform and other platforms (salesforce.com, IQVIA..)Line Management of Customer Portal Service Manager roleProfileProven successful experience of Project Manager position in concurrent IT projects and Innovation initiatives;Able to create and execute project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements to timelines and to budgetExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to handle difficult or sensitive situationsCommercial IT experience in sales and marketing environmentStrong and proven understanding of SAP landscapes and termsUniversity level IT/IS and/or Business qualificationKnowledge of the Microsoft office suite of software applications and familiarisation with mainframe accounting systems in particular SAPAbility to work on own initiative and develop proactive solutions to business problems from an end-to-end point of viewSelf-motivated and professional with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityWorking in a team - interaction with other departments is crucialDemonstrate leadership skillsJob OfferExcellent salary and overall packageWork for an inspirational leader in a fast growing businessMake the role your own - it could become a bigger and more influential role in the future Please note that applicants will only be considered and contacted if they have a relevant background in this space due to the expected volume of applications.
