Systems Engineer / Administrator (Linux Networking Ansible). As a Systems Engineer within the Infrastructure team you'll focus on driving the integration of containerisation and Cloud technologies (Azure); you'll support the release of new services via capacity planning, rollout planning and release management; develop and document end-to-end process management, be responsible for Ansible templating, playbook scripting and updates and document a pipeline to deliver UAT testing environments. You will monitor processes, performance and communication between systems and software teams to deliver continuous improvements and liaise with other teams to provide training and subject matter expertise.

You'll be based in the City, working with a collaborative team of technologists on services that effect every person in the UK.

Requirements: 

Strong Linux engineering experience

Experience in hybrid on-premise / Cloud environments

Strong experience with Ansible including templating, roles, variables, etc.  

Good knowledge of Networking protocols, TCP/IP

Ideally you will use Python for scripting automation and internal improvements 

Good knowledge of Cloud based technologies, Microsoft Azure preferred

Familiar with containers and container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes) and knowledge of monitoring platforms, performance management, event collection, and other related technologies
