Azure / AWS Data Engineer

Our client who are a leading digital organisation have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Azure / AWS Data Engineer to join them to work on some key client projects. As a leading employer in the Crawley area this is a role that will enable you to put some distance between yourself and the competition in the Cloud market as you will be working with some of the biggest named clients in the world, helping them to maximise the marketing strategies with the use of the most up to date technology.

Role Responsibilities:

'€¢The development and maintenance of CRM database, Data Lake solutions in AWS infrastructure and of ELT / ETL processes to automate data feeds to the solution in batch and real-time.'€¢System integration of multiple products to build multichannel communications solutions to meet client requirements (for example Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Alteryx)'€¢General development and support programming involving investigation of code and data issues.'€¢Attending client meetings if required to discuss and demonstrate solutions at both a technical and business level'€¢Providing training to internal & external personnel

Skills required:

'€¢Writing technical specifications for a project as required'€¢

Development experience with cloud (AWS, Azure) technologies

'€¢Python / Pyspark'€¢Redshift & Redshift Spectrum'€¢Glue'€¢Step Functions'€¢Lambda Functions'€¢Athena'€¢No SQL / Non-Relational DB'€¢Big data experience, ETL / ELT and Data Engineering experience
