Junior Software Developer / Full Stack Engineer (C# .Net Core React WPF). Multi awarding-winning advisory and asset management business is seeking a bright, ambitious Junior Software Developer looking to kick-start their career. As a Junior Software Developer you'll play a key role in the dedicated Solutions Team, where you'll have the chance to get involved across the whole development lifecycle.

In this Junior Software Developer role you'll predominantly work on the internal web-based systems using a diverse, current tech stack including TypeScript and React on the front end, Azure, C#, SQL Server and SSRS for reporting, WPF and messaging using RabbitMQ for the inhouse tools.

As a Junior Software Developer you'll also have plenty of opportunities for hands-on design and development work, contributing directly to new software components and the implementation of financial calculations. You'll build upon the existing codebase, working to ensure code quality, maintainability and performance.

Requirements:

You're degree educated in a STEM subject

You have strong programming fundamentals including knowledge of SOLID design principles

You're familiar with an OO language (C# preferred)

You have experience using SQL (and knowledge of relational databases)

You're enthusiastic, keen to develop knowledge of new technologies and contribute to discussion of new development ideas

Beneficial: familiarity with financial markets / experience working with distributed systems / experience with Azure, React, TypeScript, Python, WPF
