The role We have an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious and talented Senior User Experience Designer to join us at our offices in Cape Town. You'll need to have loads of digital knowledge, energy and enthusiasm to help us create incredible customer experiences. Responsibilities Work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teamsAssist with all research and user-focused initiative, including: Gathering client and user requirements, conducting heuristic evaluations and making best practice recommendations, synthesising research in to actionable insights, concepts and solutions.Helping develop personas, journey maps and storyboards to capture and communicate user behaviours, motivations and goalsCreating sketches, user flows, process diagrams, wireframes and working prototypes, both low and high fidelity, to communicate user journeys and deliver specificationsHelping with user testing activitiesConducting data analysisPresenting concepts, findings and ideas to clients and internal teamsHelping facilitate workshopsBriefing UI designers, developers and wider teams Knowledge & Experience Requirements You have been working within a professional environment as a UX Designer and have the portfolio to demonstrate your experienceYou are a talented Designer who understands the users' needs and objectives and can turn these into engaging digital experiencesYou adopt a test and learn approach via iterative developmentYou have experience in mobile, app and responsive website designYou are familiar with core web technologies (HTML/CSS/JS)You will have the ability to present work directly to clientsYou are articulate, creative, innovative and work within the team to help drive, grow and share our clients' offeringYou are able to think through and communicate complex interactions and processesYou have a strong technical understanding of professional and creative tools - Including Axure, Sketch, adobe design suite and InvisionExperience of working agile in scrum teams.
