I am looking for 5 x Critical Care/Theatre Technicians who are available to start immediately at a South East London NHS Trust.Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis the departments are currently over stretched and we need people who have experience working in with Critical Care or Theatres settings with ventilators and/or Anaesthetic Machines.
You will assist in the care and maintenance of physiological measurement, medical, scientific and laboratory equipment in all Critical Care Units, under the technical direction of a Lead Critical Care Technologist.
You will also orientate new members of staff on equipment usage, safety and to maintain accurate training records, as well as assisting in the management of medical, scientific and laboratory equipment within Critical Care.
Furthermore maintenance of the equipment will be expected to a high standard, ensuring that it is decontaminated and sent for service and repair in an appropriate time frame and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and location of equipment.
This contract is a 1 week rolling contact that will continue to run throughout the duration of the pandemic with a rough guide being around the 3 month mark.
The rate of pay is £21.65 per hour and you will need to use an umbrella company for this.
