Main Duties (Please describe the role that the Candidate will be undertaking within the team) This is a hands-on role with delivery responsibility. The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties with a high level of competence:Working with the product owners, developers, technologists, business users to create digital products; aligning the understanding, governing the delivery, ensuring quality.Taking part in stakeholder / user interviews /requirements gathering/ feedback sessionsApplying UX Design methodology to all parts of the digital product life cycle; getting products from conception to reality (user research, prototyping, wireframing, handholding technical teams, quality checking the solution and looking for optimisation opportunities)Creating user journeys, prototypes and detailed wireframe documentation for the full product and interaction designWorking with and contributing to Design System; aiming to keep the user experience consistent; applying current interaction and visual style patterns into new requirements. Contributing to the evolution of the overall Design System.  EXPERIENCEYou have a proven track record of excellent user experience design and a portfolio to show it off. Experience in Finance especially trade life cycle activities would be great but a portfolio full of varied work and data visualization is a must.You have a solid understanding of modern UX patterns and how to bring creativity alongside consistency.You’re a problem solver, always looking to iterate, improve, simplify.You can take and give feedback like a true professional.You can work on multiple work streams/products at the same time.You can think like a user, understand the issues like a developer and prioritize like a business/product owner relating to ROIYou can design responsively for desktop with different screen resolutions/mobiles/tabletsYou are an expert in SketchYou have some understanding of HTML5 / CSS including its potential and limitations.  BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE Experience of working in the Control / Conduct space - advantageousExperience of time-critical regulatory remediation projects in Banking - advantageousExperience of working in a front-office environment in an investment bank - advantageous  EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION Required Education:Bachelor’s Degree and good hands on experience in applying UX methodology into different problem statements. Example portfolio showcasing the experience in end to end UX delivery and Design Systems  INTERNAL - Page 1 of 1
