Network Engineer (Linux Ubuntu Ansible Juniper). World-leading cyber security organisation is seeking a tech-driven Network Engineer to help grow their dedicated Network Engineering division.

The organisation uses unique, AI-based technology to help protect leaders and innovators across industries against the growing number of adversaries in cyber space.

As a Network Engineer you'll play a critical role in supporting the smooth daily operation of the company; monitoring network connectivity, functionality and security across individual devices and globally. You'll work to encourage the adoption of automating processes (they use Ansible), and servers are predominantly Linux and Ubuntu on MacOS.

As a Network Engineer you'll eventually manage the Juniper and Cisco firewall estate, however there will be plenty of opportunities to develop and enhance your skills, so first-hand experience of this is not essential.

Requirements:

You have a good understanding of network protocols (DNS, DHCP, VLAN) and knowledge of Juniper

You have a good working knowledge of Linux / Ubuntu on MacOS

You are keen to develop your leadership skills mentoring others

You're a passionate about what you do, keen to develop your skills and learn new technologies

You're naturally analytical, willing to persevere with complex technical issues from identification to resolution

You're a motivated self-starter with excellent time management skills

Desirable: Ansible / Azure / AWS (training provided)
