IT Infrastructure and Support Manager

IT Manager / IT Infrastructure / IT Support / Permanent / Wolverhampton / West Midlands

My client, a nationally recognised organisation, is looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure and Support Manager to join the team at their Wolverhampton head office.

The IT Infrastructure and Support Manager will be responsible for IT support services across the group and provide additional support to IT Support Technicians and site IT managers. You will ensure the stability, backup recovery and security of all group sites infrastructure and make improvements where necessary. You will also manage IT projects and support other department's projects where necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

*Responsible for the IT Service helpdesk system

*Ensure SLA's on tickets service helpdesk are met

*Provide additional help to IT team as and when required.

*Ensure all key systems in group are stable, secure and online

*Run and manage IT projects.

*Provide advice and guidance to end-users.

*Assist/support IT Support Technicians

*Assistance in providing support for standard software such as MS office 2103/2016, 365 services, SharePoint, Windows 10.

*Act as administrator on certain systems such as O365, user backup system, signature software, asset inventory, auditing etc…

*Review IT weaknesses in group and plan to improve

*Work with supplier partners to help deliver security improvements across group

Key Technical Skills and Experience required:

*Have knowledge of ITIL best practices & Prince 2 project Management

*Have knowledge of ISO27001 certification standards

*Strong People management experience

*Have a flexible approach.

*Capacity to prioritise and flexibility are essential.

*Ability to work well under pressure and hit deadlines.

*Good working knowledge of general Microsoft software and networking.

*Experience of Windows server 2012, Hyper-V would be beneficial.

*Experience of MS SharePoint (365) and Azure environments

*Experience of Mimecast multi tenancy management

*Experience of Cisco Meraki Multi Site environment
