World renowned medical device technologies firm based in Waterford is seeking a Process/Equipment Engineer to join their growing team. About the JobDevelop design and implement cost justified process and equipment improvements with minimal impact to production operating under 24/7 environmentCo-ordination of Front End technician daily activitiesIdentify and eliminate repetitious machine failuresProvide consultative support to the Manufacturing and Maintenance groupsUtilise Lean Six Sigma tools and data to drive continuous improvementDevelop and Implement Safety and Quality improvementsDevelop methods to ensure personnel engaged in operations / maintenance activities have sufficient knowledge to perform their assigned tasksPrepare design specifications and associated documentation for equipment and system upgradesRequirements: The Process/Equipment Engineer will have 3 years experience in a high volume manufacturing environment. The Process/Equipment Engineer will also have some equipment design, solid-works and six sigma experience. It is desirable that you would have medical device or pharmaceutical experience.
