Junior C++ Developer (C++ Unreal4 Computer Science VAR UI). A world-class games development company is seeking an enthusiastic, talented individual to join them as a Junior C++ Developer to work on a variety of exciting projects and gain exposure to the whole development process.

In this Junior C++ Developer role, you will work on engineering brand new features to creating expressive characters or innovative game mechanics, and smooth responsive control systems. Strong attention to detail will be beneficial, as you will need to generate prototypes quickly or produce planning for mission-critical systems, and clear documentation for tech and non tech audiences.

This would suit an individual with a natural instinct for understanding technical requirements, as you will need to adapt to the changing demands of a professional games development environment. You will be supported by senior team members to accelerate your career as a Game Developer.

Requirements:

Commercial C++ development experience

Solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals

A confident, self-assured communicator who can relay technical information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences

You are truly passionate about games and are serious about having a career in the gaming industry

Nice to have: familiarity with multiple game systems, VAR, motion controller headsets, traditional game mechanics and UI principles, understanding of animation systems, and network coding
