Network Engineer (SysOps Cisco AWS Cloud GCP Azure). Principal FinTech disruptor is seeking an accomplished Network Engineer to take ownership of critical projects, remain hands on and support them by defining their technical infrastructure foundations.

The organisation is part of a household name conglomerate - dedicated to navigating the unpredictability of everyday life through their bespoke financial solutions.

In this Network Engineer role, you'll be part of the team that continues to challenge the status quo, producing more innovative products, tools and resources customers need to improve their credit score and build a better future.

As a Network Engineer, you'll call upon your industry experience and broad technical knowledge to take technical ownership of critical functions across the full lifecycle of system, data and voice engineering, including leading requirements analysis, planning, design, physical implementation, maintenance and operational support of all services to meet evolving business needs.

In this Senior Network Engineer role you'll have the chance refine your craft through hands-on work with diverse, up-to-the-minute technologies, including automation, scripting and infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible and Python. A significant portion of this Senior Network Engineer role will be dedicated to high-level networking responsibilities (predominantly using Cisco).

Requirements:

You're educated to degree level (2.1 or above, BSc / MSc / PhD) in Computer Science or related discipline

You're CCNA / CCNP (Cisco) certified and have extensive hands-on network experience

You have significant professional experience in designing, installing and maintaining large scale network systems

You have experience with data centre operations

You have notable experience in managing multi-domain Active Directory and Cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)

You have experience working across the full SDLC including DevOps

You have strong experience hybrid cloud / in-house networks including VPC peering
