Project Manager (Maritime)Home based anywhere in the UK£50'000-£60'000 + Travel Opportunities + Bonus + Pension + HolidayAre you from the Royal Navy and looking to join a company who can offer a varied, interesting and demanding position working on multiple projects across the world?Could you see yourself at the forefront of a project management for a dynamic consultancy working across a vast range of exciting projects?This company is a management-based consultancy with a focus on West Africa specialising in maritime operations, civil engineering and water resource delivery. They are looking to add a Project Manager to their ranks who will be responsible for the support and execution of the maritime division's project delivery, assisting the maritime director with strategy, operations and business development.In this role you will work from home with deployment to West Africa on multiple occasions during the year. You will be responsible for leading and managing maritime projects, generating and maintaining project plans, generating project proposals and comprehensive client project reports from strategic to tactical levels. You will organise and conduct navigation simulation studies, maritime risk assessment projects, and support operational inputs from coastal to port design projects. You will also be required to identify and develop new business opportunities for the business, deliver training workshops and liaise with clientele.This is a great role for an individual to join a leading business who will invest heavily into your development and give you a chance to play a key part in this company's growth and developmentTHE ROLE:*Leading maritime management and operational projects

*Generating and maintaining project plans

*Conduct maritime risk assessment projects across private and public sectors

*Identify new business development opportunities

*Deployment to West Africa up to 9 times a year for 2 weeks at a time.THE PERSON:*Project management experience from a maritime / ex-military background

*Familiar with marine management processes

*Maritime strategic to tactical experience
