WHAT WILL YOU, THE SUBCONTRACT OFFICER, BE DOING?Working with project managers and other business stakeholders in order to identify suitable suppliers for procured items / services and also identifying suitable alternatives where required to do so.Working alongside the bid team in order to support customer engagement.Working to develop and promote positive and mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.Monitoring purchase orders and subcontractors to assess compliance with contracted delivery schedules.Working alongside your team in order to continually review and improve procurement procedures.Evaluating supplier proposals against company objective criteria in order to provide commercially solid supply chain offering the best value. WE NEED YOU, THE SUBCONTRACT OFFICER TO HAVE….Strong experience in both supply chain and subcontracts/contractsBe able to demonstrate experience in both proposal work and reviewExperience building supplier relationshipsProcess development experienceMUST BE ABLE TO GAIN SC SECURITY CLEARANCE IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE…Experience working within defence / aerospaceAwareness of contract lawKnowledge of contract and T&C's used by UK GOV / MoD TO BE CONSIDERED….Please either apply by clicking online or emailing me directly to [email protected] For further information please call me on 0117 332 0516 or 07704 152 640 .
