Android Developer / Mobile Software Engineer (Java UI RESTful API SDK). Hyper-growth start up is seeking a tech-driven Android Developer to join their dynamic team and support their mission of disrupting the traditional banking industry.

As an Android Developer you'll make an impact through taking ownership of creating compelling banking applications across the full development lifecycle. You'll gain business-wide exposure, partnering with design and platform engineers to build superfast, responsive and reactive UIs using the core platform RESTful API to integrate backend services.

The application you work on will be feature rich with millions of customers, so a commitment to producing robust, high quality, well-tested code to give customers reliability they need is required. In this Android Developer role, you'll be given top of the range tech to get your work done, using CI/CD within a DevOps culture.

Requirements:

You have strong Android SDK experience

You're comfortable using RESTful APIs to integrate back end services

You're confident with Java (and are committed to producing high quality code)

You have good working knowledge of Google and Android UI design principles, interface guidelines, patterns and practices

You're familiar with automation test tools, e.g. Appium, Selenium / Web Driver, BDD frameworks

You're a positive team player, willing to get stuck in and keen to work in a collaborative way
