As a Software Developer, you'll predominantly focus on the post trade systems (commission computation, trade settlement feeds, reconciliations and reporting). You'll have the opportunity to partner with global sites to optimise collaboration and ownership of production systems, providing 3^rd line support where necessary.

The fully automated strategies are built using C++ and Python running on Linux servers within the internal data centres and co-location sites. In this Software Developer role you'll play a key role in enhancing middle and back office applications, taking ownership and working autonomously or as part of a small, highly collaborative team.

This is a high impact role where you will be generously rewarded for your work at the bottom line.

Requirements:

You're a Python expert and have wealth of experience on Linux with SQL databases

You have broad knowledge of trading, settlement and / or market data interfaces

You're experienced with globally distributed systems and high availability architectures

You're degree educated (2.1 or above, BSc, MSc, PhD) in Computer Science / Engineering or similar technical discipline

Desirable: C++, Java, Big Data tools (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)
