This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading public sector organisation as an Infrastructure Engineer / Server Engineer based in South Wales on an initial 6 month contract.Client DetailsA leading public sector organisation looking for an Infrastructure Engineer / Server Engineer based in South Wales on an initial 6 month contract.DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support as well as supporting on any upcoming projects to a variety of infrastructure including internal server environments

Key responsibilities: Hands on technical supportInstallation, configuration and patching of physical and virtual serversSupport on new and existing infrastructure and system projectsSupport upgrades to existing services/hardware and implementation of new services.Investigation and resolution of incidents escalated by the Service Delivery team.Back up and back up strategyEnsure Service Level Agreements are adhered to.3rd party suppliers/vendors support to resolve escalated issuesCreation and maintenance of technical documentationProfileThe person and technology Strong experience of Servers - physical and cloud basedMultiple years' experience of providing technical supportExperience of projectsMicrosoft Qualification (MCSE, MCSA, CCNA etc.)Good experience of CitrixGood general technology experience - Network Support, Server, Migrations, Office 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, VMware, SharePoint, LAN, WAN, VLAN, WLAN, TCP/IP etc…Job OfferCompetitive rate base don experience - 6 months - inside IR35
