Azure Technical Consultant - £65k - LeedsJob DescriptionMicrosoft Gold Partner in Leeds looking to add a hands-on Azure Engineer to their team to deliver projects post-sales using a mixture of PaaS and IaaS for Cloud Infrastructure, Networking, Identity and Security. There is lot's of variety in this role but on the whole focused on IaaS and PaaS solutions. Although this role is Azure focused this company provide lots of AWS services too so you will get exposure to both (if you wish).projects with some of the private sector's leading firms. Mostly FTSE 250 or FTSE 100 entities. 60% travel to offices and client locations across the country, the remainder of your time can be spent how you see fit incl. working from the home office.You'll notice a key skill here is automation (ARM Templates in particular), this company deliver cutting edge solutions and automation is key to that. if you haven't got exposure to ARM Templates or Azure DevOps FEAR NOT. An avid learner can pick these up in time...Role & ResponsibilitiesHigh and low-level solutions design - mostly Low-Level technical documentation as pre-sales is not a huge focus for youDeliver complex projects on timetrain and develop to maintain a current skillset as the clients expect cutting edge techAssist colleagues and train juniors where necessary

Technical requirementsAzure Active Directory and Identity tools.Must have experience migrating on-premise infrastructure to AzureAzure IaaS is essential and PaaS experience is even better, particularly any experience networking in Azure with VPN tunnels or vNetAzure Resource Manager (ARM Template) builds and PowerShell DSC, Azure RunBooksAzure DevOps (desirable)If you don't have experience with these last 2 please demonstrate as much experience as possible with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Bash etc.BenefitsPaid training and certification courses for Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps and more£65k Base and further benefits on full job descriptionWork with top Private sector companies on huge projectsLeeds city centre base office
