Maintenance Technician-Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Oxfordshire-Commutable from Abingdon, Harwell, Newbury, Oxford, Wantage, Didcot £30-34K plus flexitime, bonus, Pension (matched up to 7.5%), Private Medical, 25 days holiday Hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday (Flexitime-core hours 9.30AM-3.30PM) Do you have working background in a maintenance/service or installation position with specific experience in a manufacturing or laboratory/R & D environment, looking for a very interesting and unique role with a thriving global business within the materials industry? The role offers a degree of flexible working and the chance to top up on the salary with overtime and bonus, plus superb training and technical progression. More importantly this position offers a fascinating working environment and very varied work, in a large research and development/new product development environment. This key role is with a global leader in their market and are investing heavily in both staff and equipment.The role focuses on in an engineering technician team who focus on machine installations, servicing equipment, maintenance and equipment builds. Tasks will include: Assisting research projects by working in a multi-skilled team able to cover a wide range of disciplines such as electrical installations, control systems, vacuum technology, hydraulics, and pneumatics.Undertaking site maintenance repairs, including Fault finding of processing equipment and installation workServicing of equipment and verification of performance To apply you should have Academic background in engineering (electrical/mechanical/controls). This could be degree/NVQ/BTEC/HNC.Experience of maintaining electrical and mechanical machinery (controls/pneumatics/hydraulics/vacuum systems etc.)Experience within a similar environment-this could be R & D, materials engineering, cleanroom or laboratory.
