A leading technology company working on advanced and innovative battery solutions for a range of applications currently seeks an AMS Verification Engineer for their design centre in Edinburgh, Scotland. This company are building up a world class ASIC development team and this opportunity will allow you to play a key role as part of a team innovating in an application area and market segment that will see enormous growth over the next 10-15 years. In this role the Analog/Mixed Signal Verification Engineer will take responsibility for leading the verification and defining verification strategy and methodology for Mixed Signal IC design projects. You will be responsible for block level, sub-system and top level verification with ownership of the verification plan and testbench. You will lead the verification team to verify the design against product requirements whilst working closely with the Analog and Digital design teams. Experience is required with control systems, integrated micro-processors and embedded software, standard bus protocols, bus architecture designs, DSP filters, system clock architectures and control and data interfaces. You will be a strong contributor to the growth and development of the Verification team including recruitment and supervision of junior engineers as well as working with leading contractors to deliver the verification plan. Industry degree qualified, the successful Lead AMS Verification Engineer will have experience in some or all of the following; directed and constrained random verification, functional and code coverage analysis, Verilog and System Verilog, assertions and verification frameworks including UVM, power aware verification using CPF/UPF and gate level simulation. You will have experience in leading verification teams, building the verification plan, extracting and breaking down requirements and measuring and tracking verification metrics to deliver successful IC design projects Strong proficient with industry standard EDA tools is required along with excellent debug skills are required. You will be well organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
