AWS Cloud Native/Serverless Infrastructure Engineer - London/Remote - £400-£500 per day The Role:We are currently looking to recruit an Infrastructure Engineer to work on our technology platform as part of a Technology team based in London. The technology team works as a number of interdisciplinary squads each arranged around clear product goals with responsibility for delivery of their own product road-maps.This role will see you working as part of the dedicated platform team tasked with developing the performance and stability of the ecommerce platform. The platform is built to leverage cloud native serverless technologies on AWS - commercial experience within this type of framework is essential for success within this role.

Responsibilities (non-exhaustive list):Build and deploy the end to end cloud infrastructureKnowledge share with the other engineers, inclusive of regular code review meetingsMonitor for issues, including the automation of alerting and issue resolutionEnsure user experience is optimal, scalable and stableActively respond to and resolve operational incidents

Technical requirements: Strong commercial experience working as a Software &/or DevOps Engineer with previous notable experience working on AWS Cloud Native and Serverless projectsDemonstrable experience of maintaining a high traffic AWS platform base on Node.jsDetailed knowledge and demonstrable commercial experience of deploying IaC using Terraform or similarDemonstrable knowledge and experience with the use of Java, Node.js and ReactExperience scripting and deploying Lambda functions with Node.js and/or PythonExperience working with Docker and KubernetesNotable experience and detailed knowledge of working with LinuxExperience of working with modern CI/CD and engineering toolingA solid knowledge of DevOps practicesPersonal specific requirements:Passionate about Cloud computing and your workStrong attention to detailWell organised with the ability to work a number of projects concurrentlyStrong interpersonal skills built on excellent written and verbal communicationAbility to troubleshoot, research, and work through complex problemsExperience working cooperatively with a variety of teams and stakeholders
