About the Role We are seeking passionate front-end developers to join our team to help develop our current and future web application solutions. You will expand our platforms, implement new features, take ownership of the build and deployment pipelines and help build and improve upon a CI/CD and DevOps model to ensure we are continuously delivering value for our clients. You will collaborate with business analysts, UX designers and back-end engineers to deliver high quality applications and user experiences. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to lead innovation within our agile project teams while working with modern application stacks and toolsets. A passion for maintaining industry best practices while working on varied agile projects is essential. As a Senior Associate, your skills and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Take action to ensure everyone has a voice, inviting opinions from all. Establish the root causes of issues and tackle them, rather than just the symptoms. Initiate open and honest coaching conversations at all levels. Move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail. Anticipate stakeholder needs, and develop and discuss potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realises they are required. Develop specialised expertise in one or more areas. Advise stakeholders on relevant technical issues for their business area. Navigate the complexities of global teams and engagements. Build trust with teams and stakeholders through open and honest conversation. Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct. Essential Skills Proven experience implementing enterprise grade applications with web development technologies (HTML, CSS3, JavaScript/Typescript) Experience with JavaScript libraries/frameworks (React, Redux, Angular, Node.js) Knowledge of microservice architectures and REST APIs Relational and NoSQL Database knowledge Collaboration and version control using Git Management of code dependencies (npm) Experience working in Agile teams and CI/CD Excellent problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills Experience managing and leading development teams Fundamentals of data analysis and visualisation Desirable Skills Data visualisation frameworks, such as D3.js Testing frameworks and tools (Karma, Mocha, Jest) User experience design tools and design systems (XD, Sketch) Knowledge or experience working in financial services (Asset and Wealth Management, Banking & Capital Markets, Insurance) About PwCWe're one of the world's leading professional services organisations.
