Location: Barcelona, Spain (currently remote)Salary: 40,000 - $60,000 Job title: Senior Developer- AWS Technology: aws, serverless, cloudwatch, node.js, machine learning Job Type: Permanent Our international client in the health care industry is in need of an experienced full stack developer with expertise on AWS. About this role: As the Big Data Developer, you will work on the ingesting, storing, processing and analyzing of large data sets. The primary goal will be to develop and implement data pipelines that extracts, transforms and loads data into an information product. You will actively contribute to Sprint planning You will use Node.js to develop, maintain and improve AWS Lambda Functions You will build and improve our front-end applications using React and GraphQL You will develop and document APIs from scratch You will manage and monitor AWS services using CloudWatch You will provide server-side support to our Machine Learning Team You will interact with SQL and noSQL databases, such as RDS and DynamoDB About You: You have a BS/BA degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Engineering. You are an experienced user of React and GraphQL You have experience managing AWS Services (Aurora, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, SNS, Cognito, Step Functions, X-Ray, CloudWatch, Systems Manager, EC2, Route53) Hands on experience working with Big Data tools and frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, Map Reduce, Avro, Hive and Impala You can facilitate the development of data integration efforts with development team in addition to hands on design and development of large complex ETL jobs. Streaming Comfortable delivering software iteratively using Agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, LESS or SAFE The challenge of working in an emerging market and solving complex problems for our clients is a large one.
