AWS Data Architect - Insurance industry *greenfield project* - £100k-£130kJefferson Frank are currently working alongside a subsidiary of one of the world's largest insurers in a bid to help them move away from their traditional architecture with old fashioned data warehouses and look to the future. The problem they are currently encountering is that the data which they want is data they can't capture with the current infrastructure.So, here's where you come in - they need an experienced AWS Data Architect who can come in and fully understand the business problem and then act on this by creating modern architecture which will allow them to capture all the data they want. They have earmarked Amazon S3 as their storage infrastructure and would like to build around that.This data will be captured from application databases, 3rd party, web scraping and other methods. You will be the first person in the team and have the opportunity to have a huge influence of the future direction of a global company.Some key skills / experience:
Solid understanding of the AWS ecosystem
Past experience migrating data on to AWS would be a benefit
A selection of AWS: S3 / EC2 / RedShift / Kinesis / Lambda
