A Global Medical Device manufacturer have an exciting and unique opportunity for a QA manager to join the facility in Devon. This is a role that would suit someone with Quality and Regulatory experience, ideally within the medical device space. The main focus of this role is to take ownership of the Quality Management procedures by maintaining and developing the system through audits and quality tools. There will be a responsibility to maintain technical documentations according to MDR requirements.The manufacturer are a worldwide company, based in the states with a number of subsidiaries in Europe. This company are expanding rapidly through the acquisition of talent and internal growth. Their aim is to widen and deepen their product offering over the coming months and years. Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Quality - Working with management team to achieve agreed quality levels and agreed quality metricsRegulatory Compliance - Manage quality systems in a manner to ensure that QA audits can be completed smoothly at any timeEnsure the management system is in line with ISO13485 requirementsReport Quality Metrics on a monthly basis.Complaints received are processed and make sure the corrective / preventive actions are carried out in a timely manner and the complaint database is updated.Conduct internal audits as per agreed scheduleConduct Management reviews on an annually basisEnsure products are designed and manufactured to approved CE marking standards.Manage technical documentations according to MDR requirementsSupport product registrations in several countries around the worldThe successful candidate is likely to have Quality Management experience within busy medium sized companies - preferably in a manufacturing environment.
